Edgebrook 'Orchard' Cider 2014
Orchard is tradition. It is about heritage fruit, vintage cider making and glasses full of character.
Apples: A blend of five varieties of 100% Hawke's Bay grown apples. Predominant cultivars are New Zealand Queen and Rose.
Fermentation: Our Orchard cider was fermented with mostly wild yeasts in a mix of tanks and seasoned French oak barrels.
Tasting notes: In the English West Country style, our Orchard cider is complex, rich and tannic. Soft and voluptuous with a hint of smokiness, this cider is seductive and moody, brimming with character.
